**Motion rules**: Starling's motion is functional and warm — consistent with the accessible, consumer-first aesthetic. The homepage carousel (account type cards) slides at `motion-standard / ease-enter`. The mint CTA carries no hover animation on desktop — it relies on the color's inherent authority rather than movement. Nav dropdowns fade-enter from a 4px upward offset. Under `prefers-reduced-motion: reduce`, all transitions collapse to instant; the product remains fully functional and no information is conveyed through motion alone.
